The main purpose of this blog is to document my involvement with technologies that I am passionate about. Over the years I have found blogs to be very helpful when I was in need of help or information. This is my way of returning the favor. It is my aim to keep the information provided as simple as possible or in "without the calories" as I like to refer to it.
Why the name Port 5480? Well, no one else was using it and it comes from the port number that VMware is using for managing most of its virtual appliances. I am passionate about all things VMware and virtualization and I am very excited about what the cloud has to offer. This is just the beginning....
